Deanna Hu is a writer and student at UC Santa Barbara whose poetry and prose has been recognized by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers and small publishers. 

Andrea Gerada hails from the Philippines where she graduated with a BA in English Literature. When she isn’t reading or picking up yet another hobby, she is trying to learn the craft of storytelling.

Mya Berry is a writer, a dog parent, a crafter of many things, and an owner of more than thirty plants that she works diligently to keep alive despite the erratic weather of Missouri.

Laura McPherson is a writer and editor based in Chicago. Her creative work has appeared in Night Picnic Journal, The Hyacinth Review, Corvus Review, and elsewhere.

Taylor Boyle is a writer who loves to curl up with her cat, Macaroni, and a good book. When she’s not reading or writing, she works with various nonprofits on civic engagement initiatives.

Jessica Burke is a writer, foodie, and student from Arizona. When she is not writing, Jessica enjoys doing archery and learning new instruments.

Cathleen Balid is a writer from Queens, New York. She has been recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, New York Times, and more. She is an alum of the online Ellipsis Writing Fiction Workshop and Iowa Young Writers’ Studio. When she is not writing, she loves to journal, cuddle with her dog, and renew her obsession with oolong milk tea.

Anam Tariq is a poet, writer, book reviewer with an MA in English and a poetry collection A Leaf upon a Book (Leadstart, 2022). She runs The Wordsridge Newsletter, and writes for Writers’ Cafeteria and others. Anam’s poems appear in The Punch Magazine, New Reader Magazine, Spill Words, and elsewhere. In her free time Anam loves immersing herself in books and series/movies. 

Ava Chen is a writer from Massachusetts. Her work has been recognized by Columbia College Chicago, Smith College, the national Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and more. When not writing, you can find her taking very long walks or playing piano for her two pet turtles.
